Records Fall at Canadian Indoor Championships in Laval, Plusieurs Records Aux Championnats Canadiens Interieurs a Laval

Many records fell at this past weekend’s Canadian Indoor Championships in Laval, Quebec.

Those who rewrote the record books include Jade Pauley, Shannon Hegarty, Chris Fiola, Paisley Perrie, Stephane Charron, Marco Frusteri, Zoe Candelier, Juan Diego Zuluaga, and numerous relay teams.

On Sunday, the crowd was treated to a spectacular show in the flying lap competition. Jade Pauley set the fastest time with a 9.47-seconds while Shannon Hegarty topped women with 10.14-seconds.

Plusieurs records ont été établis la fin de semaine dernière aux Championnats Canadiens Intérieurs a Laval, au Quebec.

Ceux qui ont patiné des courses en temps records incluent Jade Pauley, Shannon Hegarty, Chris Fiola, Paisley Perrie, Stephane Charron, Marco Frusteri, Zoe Candelier, Juan Diego Zuluaga, ainsi que plusieurs équipes de relais.

La dernière course qui eu lieu dimanche était les tours lancés. C’est Jade Pauley qui a completé le tour le plus rapide en 9.47-secondes. Shannon Hegarty était la plus rapide chez les dames avec un tour lancé en 10.14-secondes.

Good Luck to all Skaters Competing in this Weekend’s Canadian Indoor Championships. The two day competition takes place at the Récréateque in Laval. Skaters from Ontario and Quebec will compete in age divisions.

Bonne Chance a tout les Patineurs qui Coursent cette fin de Semaine dans les Championnats Canadiens Interieur. La compétition, qui durera la fin de semaine entière, aura lieu au Récréateque a Laval. Plusieurs patineurs de l’Ontario et du Quebec participeront dans les divisions d’age.

Toronto Roller Derby presents: Certifiable Derby Training Camp

Toronto Roller Derby is hosting a Certifiable Derby Training Camp and a Referee Clinic from May 4 to 6, 2012.

This is a weekend long event featuring the following coaches from Certifiable Derby Training:

Sarina “DeRanged” Hayden
Melissa “Psycho Babble” Hayden
Janet “Helen Wheels” Clarke of Tucson Roller Derby

The camp runs from 6pm on Friday, May 4, 2012 until 6pm on Sunday, May 6, 2012. Weekend passes only, no day passes or spectator passes available. A referee clinic will run concurrent with this training camp; more details & ticket information coming soon. Tickets are on sale until May 1st, 2012 or until sold out, whichever occurs first.
