History In Roller Sports: I first became involved with Roller Speed in 1993 as an athlete. I have been a member of the Toronto Inline Skating Club (TISC) since then. I’ve been coaching TISC since 2000 and have been President of the club since 2009. I represented Canada at the Pan American Games (2007), Pan American Championships (2002, 2005, 2011), World Championships (2000, 2002 to 2008, 2013), and Pan Am Festival (2014). I am webmaster of SpeedSkateWorld.com I was the Sport Organizing Chair for the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games. I continue to compete in various events, competitions, and races on track, road, sprint, marathon, and ultra-marathons.
Involvement With RSC Speed: I am involved with RSC Speed because I have a good depth of specific knowledge and experience to share, I have the willingness to contribute to building a successful organization, and the desire to build an organization that supports growth in athletes, volunteers, coaches & officials, and clubs. I am driven to bring individuals and groups together so they may deepen their level of engagement in the beautiful sport of roller speed skating.
Vision for RSC Speed: My vision is for RSC to be an organization that is able to operate ethically in the following capacities: operating transparently, supporting clubs and athletes and events, helping to develop and train coaches & officials, forming an effective platform for communications, and having a committed volunteer base and staff & team that are all valued and recognized.

Areas of Strength & Focus on RSC Speed Committee: I bring a wealth of experience and technical expertise developed through over two decades of being involved in the sport of roller speed skating an athlete, coach, event organizer, teacher of officials, rule book writer, web master, publisher & editor, director & President in skating Clubs, Sport organizing committee chair for the Pan Am Games. I apply my skills and strengths with RSC in communications, event organizer, and in helping to form the structure for RSC Speed including rulebook and officials development. I work with a focus on highest ethical standards and values & respect.
