Le Taz- Speed Sessions On Sundays 9am-11am At Montreal Indoor 200m Track
Le Taz, Montreal’s newest indoor inline skating facility, will have a dedicated slot for roller speed skating on the 200-meter track.
For $10 (cash for the time being), skaters can skate on Sundays between 9am and 11am. The session will be coached.
The track features an integrated AMB chip timing system. Chips can be purchased for $120. The use of timing chips is NOT mandatory.

Canadians Race To Podium At Metrodome Inline Marathon
Toronto’s Sarah Hopkins finished 2nd overall at this weekend’s Metrodome Inline Marathon earlier this weekend.
The race, held inside Minneapolis’ Metrodome, featured skaters competing in individual marathon races as well as team time-trials.
Toronto’s Morgan Williams was part of the Aloe Up squad, which finished 2nd to the Mid West Skate Club #1 in the team time.
Ottawa’s Mike Garvin clocked the 4th fastest marathon time for the men at 1:18:44.1, a mere 2-seconds from 3rd place.

Maraton Sierpniowy In Poland
The Polish Federation of Roller-Skating is inviting skaters to participate in Maraton Sierpniowy– a roller speed skating marathon taking place place on August 28, 2009 in Gdansk- a charming summer resort on the Baltic Sea.
The ambition is to organise the event at the highest international level– both for professional inline skaters as well as for all other categories of the inline and classical rollerskate fans.
The participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy several very attractive accompanying events to be held on the marathon day and on the day after.
