This video features Belgium’s Bart Swings taking control and winning a points race in the Netherlands.

In a points race, leading skaters are awarded points during the race as the cross the start-finish line. In a points race, the skaters who accumulate the most points while not getting eliminated earn the highest placements.

The 2011 RSO Series dates have been decided. The series’ events will take place on the following dates at the following venues;

• May 21– Toronto (Etobicoke)- Father John Redmond Secondary School, 400-meter track
• June 11– Harriston- Canadian Inline Training Center, 200-meter banked track
• July 30– Toronto (Etobicoke)- Father John Redmond Secondary School, 400-meter track
• August 13– TBA (possibly Peterborough)

The famous Roller Marathon de Dijon is already a stage of the Coupe de France (french circuit) and also one of the World Inline Cup. And as the organizer wanted to offer Masters (age over 35) a new challenge and profit the benefit of international aspect of the event it has been decided to postulate for becoming world championships this year.

So with the helpful of the french federation of rollerskating (FFRS), FIRS and CIC have given agreement to Dijon.

Members of national teams have to deal with their own federation but others skaters, (individual) have to register on website

We have pleasure in communicating you that Italy will organise the “GRAN PRIX INTERNAZIONALI D’ITALIA” of Roller Speed Skating.

This event is a circuit of 4 International Trophies on track and on the road.

September 17-18 SAN BENDETTO DEL TRONTO ( Ascoli Piceno)
