Indoor Race In Ottawa- December 6th & 7th
On December 6th and 7th, the Ottawa Inline Skating Club will be hosting the first ever OISC Indoor Invitational Race Series–
NEW! InlineOttawa is holding its first ever invitational indoor competition. This unique 5 hour event, will focus on bringing together inline skaters from different skating clubs and allowing skaters to compete with other skaters in their ability range through unique race formats. The event is limited to 32 skaters so register quickly to ensure you get a spot.
Le Taz- New Indoor Facility For Montreal
Le Taz, a new indoor roller speed skating facility in Montreal, is planned to be open in 2009. Read more in Montreal’s Taz- Taking Shape–
‘Le Taz’ is a wonderful project that will inject much needed growth, development, and excitement for the sport in Montreal and Canada. The facility is great addition to Quebec’s sporting system, which has a long and rich history.

Northshore Inline Marathon Age Record For Dr Frank Larue & Morgan Williams
The following is from [RACE REPORT] Northshore Inline Marathon–
Frank Larue (Dr. Frank), has been confirmed as the new record holder for his age at the Northshore inline marathon, inline skating’s premiere skating event.
Frank dropped the record from 1:34 to 1:21 for the 42K 67 year old males
Toronto Inline Skating Club’s Morgan Williams also the record for his age this year-

Our next Application deadline is Friday, November 28, 2008. Your application has to arrive at the Canadian Athletes Now Fund office by 5:00PM EST on Friday, November 28, 2008. Note: Each application is a NEW application! You MUST submit a NEW application. Please also apply if you have been a past recipient, each athlete can apply twice a year.

2008 Outdoor Season Closes With RSO Outdoor Series Finale- Jesse Pauley & Paisley Perrie Series Champs
Roller Sports Ontario held its final outdoor race of the 2008 season with the RSO Outdoor Series #2- the 4th race of the series acting as a make-up stage for a previously rained out stage.
Jesse Pauley and Paisley Perrie were the overall winners in the men’s and women’s categories, each earning enough points in the final stage to clinch their respective victories.
