World Skate, the international Governing body for all roller disciplines including roller and inline speed skating, is holding a 3-level coaching program to educate and recognize coaches. While an unlimited number of individuals can register and take the course, each National Federation, including Roller Sports Canada, is allowed to have a maximum of 5 coaches in the official pathway to become recognized as a World Skate Coach, which occurs upon the completion of all 3 coaching course levels. Recognized coaches will be able to deliver courses in their own country with materials provided by World Skate.

The level-1 course begins on February 26th and takes place over several days over the following month. The registration fee is $190 (US). To be part of the official pathway to become recognized as a World Skate Coach as one of the 5 allocated to Roller Sports Canada, please contact speedcommittee@rollersports.ca by February 18th.

World Skate , la fédération internationale pour toutes les disciplines de roller, y compris la vitesse, organise un programme d’entraînement à 3 niveaux pour éduquer et reconnaître les entraîneurs. Bien qu’un nombre illimité de personnes puissent s’inscrire et suivre le cours, chaque fédération nationale, y compris Roller Sports Canada, est autorisée à avoir un maximum de 5 entraîneurs qui seront reconnu en tant qu’entraîneur World Skate. Les entraîneurs reconnus pourront donner des cours dans leur propre pays avec du matériel fourni par World Skate.

Le cours de niveau 1 commence le 26 février et se déroule sur plusieurs jours au cours du mois suivant. Les frais d’inscription sont de 190 $ (US). Pour être reconnu comme entraîneur mondial de patinage parmi les 5 attribués à Roller Sports Canada, veuillez contacter speedcommittee@rollersports.ca avant le 18 février.
