This past weekend, thousands of skaters took to Montreal’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in the 7th annual 24 Hours Roller Montreal. Over 100 teams took to the start of the ever-growing event.
The event attracted skaters from across North America as well as overseas. This year’s event raised over $30000 in support of Quebec’s Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

2010 Olympic Champion Olivier Jean acted as spokesperson for the event. He was part of this year’s fastest team, Apex Racing Skates – Il Peloton. The team’s roster also included past Olympic Champion Mathieu Turcotte, USA’s Olympic Silver Medalist Travis Jayner, 2010 Canadian Olympic Champion Mathieu Giroux, Canadian 500-meter record holder Steve Robillard, and a host of other strong inline skaters.
