Canadian roller speed skaters competed in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, and in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania this past weekend.
Toronto skaters Herb Gayle & Morgan Williams competed over two days of racing at the Great Midwest Marathon in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. They faced legendary skaters & World Champions- Colombia’s Jorge Botero & USA’s Tony Muse. Morgan Williams placed 2nd in the criterium race and finished 3rd in the finishing sprint in the marathon the following day. Herb Gayle finished 7th in the marathon.

The season’s first Eastern Seaboard Series race took place in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania.
Montreal’s Constant Montpellier surprised many skaters, finishing first in his category- Pro Veteran Men’s 15km race and finishing 2nd overall of all Master & Veteran skaters.
Peter Doucet and Morgane Echardour took on the Pro men & women- both finishing 9th.
