Canadian skaters performed well at this past weekend’s Minnesota Half Marathon & NROC 10K Championship. The event, which attracted hundreds of skaters, was held over two days.

Morgan Williams led the red & white with top finishes in the Veteran Men’s category by winning both the Half Marathon and the 10km race.

Sarah Hopkins, who recently moved to Calgary, finished 5th in the Pro Women’s race after falling just before the finish. She came back the following day with a 2nd place finish in the 10km race.

New Brunswick’s Nadine Jackson finished 4th in the Master Women’s Half Marathon.
