Roller Speed Skating Coaching And Training Resources
This section is designed to be used as a resource for the Canadian Roller Speed Skating community. The links below are recommended for clubs, coaches, athletes, and parents. These web resources are divided into three sections; elite, youth, and beginner. Some of the resources placed in one category may be applicable to other categories.
Many Canadian roller speed skaters train on their own and without the expertise of a coach, and a number of clubs are starting to formalize more pertinent and sound training programs. Because of this reality, Roller Sports Canada is working at developing Roller Speed Skating at the grassroots level. Part of the development plan includes sharing accurate and relevant technical, training, and strategic methods that can be applied in various settings.
